My daughter has them too, less frequently than me, but I was only diagnosed after they tested her whilst she was doing her nursing training as she kept fainting
While supplementing with large doses of B12 will reduce MMA levels more than will smaller doses, there are no clear benefits (more info in Appendix A
When administered, the peptide preferentially accumulates in adipose tissue, where it interacts with beta-3 adrenergic receptors on fat cell membranes and initiates metabolic signaling cascades
A 2020 review on the safety of BPC-157 in preclinical (animal) studies states that the peptide did not show any test-related effects in the single-dose toxicity study and that it was well tolerated in repeat-dose evaluations.16 Other animal studies and reviews mention that BPC-157 has no reported toxicity or that it was without a lethal dose in toxicology studies.14 17 Even the authors of a small human study on BPC-157 for interstitial cystitis note that no one dropped out of the study, and no adverse events were reported.18 We want to highlight that most of the relevant studies have been conducted on animals, and more human research is needed
This wouldnt be a problem if doctors would prescribe daily B12 shots for patients who needed them
Peptides are naturally occurring short chains of amino acids, acting as the building blocks for proteins in the body
