You may have heard the terms "baby Brunello" or "Brunello's little brother" but these do not do this wine justice
Bourgogne Pinot Noir MAGNUM Domaine de Montille 2018 wine aged 20 months in 80%This is a blend of the Volnay Bourgogne lieu dit Les Longbois, an historical De Montille parcel, and two parcels around Puligny. Due to the quality of fruit that year, Brian took the unusual step to use one third whole bunch which lends a little twist of freshness and structure to the finish, balancing the ripe red berry fruit to give a rather serious Bourgogne.
