Antique or Vintage 1920s hand crocheted black heavily fringed Art Deco evening tabard or over dress 1970s tunic Late 1930’s evening dress withA bit of a rarity, this original 1920s heavily fringed hand crocheted evening dress, in inky black silky rayon yarn with stepped Art Deco design. Ive shown it both ways, as I think its probably designed with v front but you could easily wear it backwards for v back which I quite like. I absolutely love the Art Deco shaping over the hips and thighs. I suspect it was originally worn with a silk slip dress beneath which would be easy to replicate.
