Vintage Honey Amber Brooch w/ Fossil Inclusions Pin Sterling Silver and Opal black coal eye and noseA richly colored semi translucent amber, makes up this natural fossilized tree resin brooch, featuring primitive plant or animal inclusions, and made into a brooch sometime in the 1930s. The smooth and polished oblong shaped specimen has a warm honey like cognac color, with natural inclusions of fossilized organic matter in an asymmetrical pattern, fluorescing into a soft matte chartreuse green color under black light (UV 395nm), as shown (see pic 3).
