Brighamia insignis  Also known as the Cabbage on a Stick this is a rare species from Hawaii (my plants are seed grown)

An interesting small species from Argentina distinctive for its dark gray green to brownish color and nice spines

This is mostly but not necessarily exclusively on the older leaves

Ariocarpus retusus Crassulaceae Brighamia insignis Also known asAriocarpus retusus Nice plants of this popular but slow growing cacti. Tubercules (those aren't leaves!) are gray or blue green. Produces white flowers in the fall. Fairly easy to care for, except it can be fussy about overwatering especially in winter. Likes good light and warm conditions. Can take light frost when more mature but best to protect when possible. You will receive a plant shown in the last image. It is shown growing in a 3. 5" pot.
