This version of the series features all nocturnal animals including an owl and raccoon along with moth feathers as opposed to the butterflies from the first image

Once I started delving into the mythology of archers I decided to reference the Greek character Artemis

The print is really about childlike wonder and imagination

I'm mixing photographic elements with a stipple technique for the rim lighting around the elephants and the long cast shadows

It may be the main edition printed on pearlescent opal paper or a sapphire blue or a brilliantly colored foil or even a 'woodland' version that is printed on thin sheets of wood veneer paper. I believe I'm the only person to have printed on this stock and it is insanely cool in person. Every edition is interesting in their own way and none are printed on standard white paper
