Chevy GM 4.8 5.3L 6.0 6.0L Active Fuel Mgt AFM DOD Valve Lifters Set w/ Trays Timing Chain Oil Pump Kit 1992-1994 ACURA VIGOR 2Remark: Engines with AFM use a special camshaft, a high volume oil pump, and a pressure relief valve in the oil pan. AFM lifters fail when feed oil to the lifter is low or mistimed. GM has released an updated VLOM (Valve Lifter Oil Manifold) # 12571609 to help address this problem. Install new VLOM is highly recommended. Anything that affects oil pressure to the AFM lifters will cause AFM lifter failures: includes failed oil pump, restricted oil
