It forms dense clumps of short thin leaves with tiny white hairs

and orangish spines

This is a succulent so be careful not to overwater when it is in its summer dormant phase after dropping its leaves

If your plant is greenish on arrival then give it good light and it will become deep red

In high light the tips become a beautiful shade of pink. The plant branches readily and is fairly fast growing. Easy to grow. Just treat like a normal succulent Euphorbia or cactus. High light brings out the pink highlights but be careful that it doesn't sunburn as variegated plants are more sensitive to very high light. Protect from frost.
