midnight sun - hand painted tray Style:no embellishment pairing your sessions with thisabout the piece this piece is drawn on a 12 x 16 x 2 inch birch wood tray using acrylic paint & sealed with a glossy varnish. the wave is inspired by hokusai's The Great Wave off Kanagawa. the patterns and metallic gold embellishment were inspired by my recent trip to beijing where i visited the temple of heaven and fell in love with its interior designs. as an asian artist, much of my art is inspired by my heritage and cultural roots. this functional
