This 4 inch ruler and needle gauge is nearly always in use in my knitting bag. It is a substantial thickness of high quality bamboo wood, which gives it a really pleasing weight and heft. I use this to measure every single one of my gauge swatches (and to identify my Addi needles because my 50+ year old eyes just do not see the markings on those tiny cords any more!). The
