One of my personal favorite genera of cacti. It almost looks more like a piece of art than a plant! The cactus is covered in wavy ribs and long spines. The plant will grow upright in time but stays small enough to be a potted plant even when mature. Flowers are pink with darker central stripes. It is one of the very first cacti to bloom in the late winter or early spring.
