The motto "Resistance to tyrants is obedience to God." Major Jonathan Gostelowe listed 13 standards, or regimental flags, in an inventory he conducted in 1778 for the Continental Army. Design of these flags is attributed to John Henderson. Some are lost to history, while others, like the "No. 10" here used to create this
